Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 June 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Masaro platform. By creating an account or using Masaro you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

About Masaro

Masaro is an online marketplace, operated by Appsibly, that connects clients with independent specialists and service venues. Masaro facilitates discovery and booking as an intermediary. Each booked service is provided by the listed independent provider, not by Masaro, and providers are not our employees.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Masaro. By using the service you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, keep it up to date and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. You may sign in with email and password or with a supported social login (Google, Facebook, Apple or Seznam.cz).

Booking and dispatch

To book, you choose a provider, service, duration, location where relevant, and an available time. The booking is confirmed against the provider's published calendar. We do not guarantee that a provider will be available at every time or place.

Prices, payment and commission

The service price is shown before you confirm the booking. At launch, payment is made directly to the provider after the appointment. Masaro does not process card payments at launch and does not handle the service payment itself.

For arranging the booking, Masaro records a platform commission, which is settled separately between Masaro and the provider. You pay only the displayed service price.

Cancellation

You may cancel a booking free of charge until the provider starts the service. Once the service has started it cannot be cancelled. Providers may cancel in reasonable circumstances; if the provider cancels, you are not charged.

Code of conduct

Masaro supports lawful professional services in the categories listed on the platform. Providers may only list services they are legally qualified and permitted to perform.

Sexual services, illegal services, harassment, threats, discrimination, unsafe conduct, and misleading listings are prohibited. Violations may lead to immediate removal and may be reported to the authorities. Clients and providers must maintain a respectful, professional environment.

Provider obligations

Providers must be approved before going public and accepting bookings. They must provide accurate profile and service information, hold all qualifications, licences, insurance, and permits required for their profession, act professionally and safely, and comply with these terms and applicable law. We may suspend or remove a provider who breaches these obligations.

Reviews

After a completed booking, clients may leave a rating and a comment. Reviews must be honest, relevant and lawful, and must not contain offensive, defamatory or privacy-infringing content. We may remove reviews that breach these rules.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Because Masaro is an intermediary, each service is provided by an independent provider responsible for its quality, safety, and lawfulness. Masaro reviews providers but does not perform the service and gives no warranty about the outcome of an appointment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Masaro is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of clients or providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law. If you have a problem with a service, contact us and we will try to help resolve it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will update the 'last updated' date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of Masaro after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence (including Slovakia) are not affected. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts, subject to any mandatory consumer rules.

Note: this document was prepared by the Masaro team and we are not lawyers. The operator's registered company details (IČO, registered office) must be completed and the full text reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.
